I create my art in a natural light studio inside of my home. Large windows overlook my garden and I feel connected and settled by the sunlight and views both of nature and the space I have created for myself to paint within. I consider myself to be an abstract expressionist, meaning my vision is loosely describable and comes from a place within created impulsively and without prior planning.

I use oil paint and a variety of tools to form organic shapes and values of color. I focus on creating a dynamic piece of work that marries different textures and colors together in a seemingly effortless, yet sophisticated way. My paintings represent a free flowing vision that mixes refinement with emotion through reactive and gestural marks to create a visually stimulating work of art.
